This log was about a 15 " dia. and 28 " long. I cut down each side to the top of the pot. I used sidewalk chalk to draw my flowers on to give the eye an idea of what the chainsaw is to do. We are located in Horse Country, so, I thought I would do a relief of a horse on this pot just for fun

Here we have painted the flower with latex paint, watered down, burned the horse and will let it dry before staining the inside area of the pot ,(to make it look brown like dirt), then we will put on a couple coats of Spar. These flowers are very easy to take care of, require no water or miracle grow, won't freeze and bloom all year long, year after year.
